Importance of Hijab Investigated in Lahore

A conference on importance of wearing Hijab and woman's value was held by Women and Family Commission affiliated to the Islamic Party in Lahore, Pakistan.
According to IQNA's branch in South Asia, the program was held with the participation of Nusrat Parviz Ashraf, Pakistan Prime Minister's wife, Sumayyah Rahil Ghazi, head of the commission and Tayyebeh Bukhari, eminent researcher and religious figure of the country as well as a large number of Pakistani women.
Addressing the Conference Nusrat Pervaiz Ashraf said women should wear Hijab to tell the world that it protects them against the threats that endanger her valuable treasure of modesty.
"In reality, Hijab brings respect and honor to women and isn't a way to limit them offend them".
She said Hijab gives immense respect and sanctity to women.
Noting that Hijab is banned in many countries, participants at the seminar asked for the freedom of Hijab all over the world.
The conference was held on September 15 and top female preachers and activists in religious and social affairs were awarded at the event.
