ISLAMABAD (IQNA) – A Quran competition for school and university students is planned in Quetta, Pakistan, in March.

The Quranic Academy affiliated to Quetta’s Haidari Husseiniya (religious center) will organize the Quranic event, according to IQNA dispatches.

It will be held for students of schools, universities and Quranic centers of the city on the occasion of the birthday anniversary of Imam Ali (AS), the first Shia Imam.

Given the large number of applicants, a selection contest is going to be held prior to the main stage of the competition.

Winners will be announced and awarded in a ceremony on March 31.

The ceremony will be held to celebrate the birthday anniversary of Imam Ali (AS).
