Call for Short Stories on ‘Women Helping Imam Hussein (AS)’

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Women Section of the Cultural Committee organizing the 15th edition of “Rabee’-ul-Shahadah” international festival will hold a short story contest as part of the festival.

 

According to the website of the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein’s (AS) holy shrine, “women in helping the third Wasiyy (successor)” is the motto of the contest, to be held on the sidelines of the festival.

It is for women and aims to investigate the role of women in helping the third infallible Imam (AS).

Those willing to attend the competition can send their short stories to article1440@gmail.com by February 25.

The stories should be written in Arabic and have no fewer than 700 words.

The participants can send more than one story, but each story should be about a different female character.

The first to the third rank winners will be respectively awarded 600000, 500000 and 400000 Iraqi dinars.
