Kremlin Spokesman’s Daughter to Fast in Ramadan
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov’s daughter plans to fast during the holy month of Ramadan.
In a post on her Instagram page, she said she plans to fast all days during the holy month, Islam Russia website reported.
She noted that her parents have not imposed any religion on her when she was a child and let her choose a religion after becoming an adult.
She described herself as very religious but not Orthodox and added that she has studied a number of religions but feels closer to Islam.
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar in which Muslim all around the world fast from dawn to sunset.
