Quran Recitation by Iranian Qari Shakernejad at Imam Reza Holy Shrine
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Prominent Iranian Qari Hamed Shakernejad recently recited verses from the Quran at the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) in Mashhad.
He recited verses 70-73 of Surah al-Ahzab as well as Surahs Zuha, Inshirah and Teen in a Quranic program held by the Dar-ol-Quran center of the mausoleum.
It was organized as part of the programs organized by the Astan during the last ten days of the lunar Hijri month of Safar.
Shakernejad is a renowned Qari and many young reciters try to imitate his style.
He won the top title in Saudi Arabia’s international Quran competition in 1996.
