TEHRAN (IQNA) – Footage featuring Quran recitation by Egyptian Qari Anwar Shahat Anwar in Iran has been shared on social media.
In this undated clip, he recites verses from Surah al-Shams (91) of the Holy Quran.
It has been recorded in Kermanshah, west of Iran.
Born on May 29, 1979, Anwar is the son of renowned Qari Shahat Muhammad Anwar (1950-2008). His brother Mahmoud is also a famous Quran reciter in the Arab country.
Anwar has traveled to various countries, including Iran, Indonesia, Algeria, South Africa, the UK, and Pakistan, for recitation of the Quran.
