New Books to Be Unveiled in Holy Quran “Human and Society” Int’l Congress

An Interpretive Dictionary of Holy Quran by Reza Ashrafzadeh and Encyclopedia of Holy Quran published by Minhaj Institute in Pakistan will be unveiled at the international congress of the Holy Quran “Human and Society”.


According to IQNA’s branch in Khorasan Razavi Province, the books will be unveiled in the opening ceremony of the international congress to be held on November 20 in the holy city of Mashhad.



The conference hall of Islamic Azad University’s branch in the holy city will host the program from 8:30 to begin with a message by Ayatollah Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, chairman of the Expediency Discernment Council.



Specialized papers sent for the congress will be presented simultaneously in 5 separate halls and besides Hamid Mirzadeh, head of the university, the program will be addressed by 12 other eminent Iranian and foreign figures.



The first part of the program will continue until 1:30 p.m. local time and the second part will begin after the evening prayers.



The closing ceremony of the congress will be held on November 21 with the participation of Mahdi Mazaheri, the senior assistant to the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Taha Hashemi, cultural deputy of the university and a number of provincial and academic officials.



On the sidelines of the congress, an exhibition of books and software products will be organized which will present the data-x-items to the university students and the participants with discount.



Some 650 papers have been sent to the secretariat of the congress, from among which 256 ones have been accepted. 122 papers will be displayed in the form of posters and the rest will be presented at the congress.



28 representatives from Pakistan, Iraq, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, Algeria, The Netherlands, Canada and Tunisia will participate at the international program.
