Al-Aqsa Mosque Imam Warns of Zionist Plot
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Imam of Al-Aqsa Mosque warned the Zionist regime is planned to take control of parts of the mosque.
Sheikh Ekrima Sa’id Sabri said the Tel Aviv regime tries to sever Muslims’ links to the mosque, Palestine Today reported.
He warned that Israel is seeking to take control of the Marwani prayer area of Al-Aqsa Mosque and close the Bab al-Rahma Gate.
He also deplored intensified restrictions by Zionist forces in the old parts of Jerusalem al-Quds.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Sheikh Sabri criticized some Arab countries for normalziaing ties with the Zionist regime.
Last month, the UAE and Bahrain signed controversial normalization agreements with Israel at the White House, amid outrage across Palestine and the Muslim world at the Arab regimes’ betrayal of the Palestinian cause.
