According to the ministry’s cultural-student deputy, some 62,000 individuals have signed up to take part in the festival’s different categories.
The categories include competitions on Quran recitation and memorization as well as research, arts, literature and Islamic teachings.
The festival this year is organized in commemoration of martyred Iranian commander Lt. General Qassem Soleimani.
The nationwide festival is annually organized to promote Quranic activities and identify Quranic talents among the Health Ministry’s staff as well as medical universities’ students and instructors.
