Importance of Attending Muharram Mourning Rituals

TEHRAN (IQNA) – There is so much emphasis for holding and attending mourning rituals for martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS).

Speaking in a series of sessions on Ashura, Dr Mohsen Esmaeili has elaborated on different aspects of the event of Ashura.

In the fourth session, he elaborated on the importance of taking part in mourning rituals for the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS).

He said that by attending these ceremonies, we review the history of Ashura again and again so that we will not forget it and that we will reflect on it and learn lessons for life and our future.
