The Urwa-Tul-Wusqa Seminary School of the city organized the Quranic event on Thursday.
Prominent Iranian qari Karim Mansouri and young Egyptian qaris Mahmoud Kamal al-Najjar and Suleiman al-Shihab recited verses from the Holy Book at the program.
It was hosted by Bait-ul-Ateeq Mosque and received well by the people of Lahore and students of the seminary.
Allama Syed Zia Ullah Shah Bukhari, chairman of Muttahidah Jamiat Ahle Hadith Pakistan, in an address hailed the Quranic program and underlined the need for more attention to the Holy Quran.
Mansouri also recited the Kumayl Supplication after the Maghrib and Isha prayers.
