Mohammad Mehdi Bahrololoum said a central committee has been set up to select the top Quran teachers.
He said representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, IRIB Quran TV, Dar-ol-Quran Karim Organization, and a number of other organization are members of the committee.
It will have branches in the country’s provinces with the participation of representatives from related provincial bodies, he noted.
The committee will select the ones to be honored according to a number of criteria such as being a memorizer of at least ten Juzes (parts) of the Quran and having at least 5 years of experience in teaching Quran memorization, Bahrololoum added.
The 38th edition of Iran’s International Holy Quran Competition will be held in March 2022.
