Iraqi Institute Holding Monthly Quran Memorization Contest
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Quran memorization center affiliated with the Astan (custodianship) of Hazrat Abbas(AS) holy shrine is staging memorization contests for learners every month.
Top learners participate in the event, dubbed ‘let’s compete’, according to al-Kafeel.net.
The panel of judges ask various questions such as number of pages or verses, start of end of each verse, and the sequence of verses.
The contest reveals the level of students as well as efforts of teachers to train them and aims to strengthen the skills of learners, make them review what they have learned, and encourage them to participate in other local and national competitions.
The Quran center of the Astan of Hazrat Abbas(AS) enjoys various branches and is one of the most important active pillars of the custodianship in the field of Islamic teachings.
